Bella Poarch

Bella Poarch, born on 9 February 1997 in the Philippines to Filipino biological parents. Her mother lived in areas of slums for three years until she turned 3 years old. She was then adopted. The father of her adoptive family is white American who has military experience, and her mother who adopted her is Filipino. She claims that her adoptive brother and she were abused from when she was a child until she enlisted. Her family traveled across the country to San Francisco for a few months to live with her aunt prior to moving to Texas when she was 13 due to her father's requirement to have a bypass procedure. Although the physical violence subsided however, she claimed to have experienced mental assault from her father in the home. She enlisted in the United States Navy when she reached the age of 18. Poarch began her TikTok account in April 2020 and quickly became a household name amassing more than 40 million users in just eight months. The account was home to a variety of videos, but the most popular was a video for Millie B's hit song Soph Aspin Send. An edited clip of her lip-syncing rhythmically to the song and leaping in sync with it, was a viral video that has since become TikTok's most popular video. Poarch launched her YouTube and Twitter accounts within the month after her signing up to TikTok to benefit from the growing popularity. Poarch hit her highest point of fame around December. Her burgeoning fame was reported to have drawn two of the most prestigious professional Esports Teams. 100 Thieves as well as FaZe Clan expressed interest in hiring her as a creator of content under their respective brand names.
